If you have a stand mixer, here is your sign that you need to take it apart and clean it. 

Ideally more often than every 25 years like me. I googled a tutorial for my KitchenAid Mixmaster and it wasn’t hard to do, but because of the build up (ahem… did I say 25 years?), it took 3.5 hours.

But why oh why did I go down that rabbit hole, you might ask? Why have I cleaned my kitchen upside down and inside out? Reorganized it, bought a new toaster, new baking pans, cutting boards and few other odds and ends? 

My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease.
